When I feel like I need a little detox, this is the juice I make...
It's full of goodness:-
Beetroot - rich in iron, v. good for the blood, detoxes the liver.
Apple - rich in beto-carotene and vitamin C, helps remove toxins.
celery - contains potassium and folic acid, aids digestion.
Ginger - contains gingerol: anti-oxidant & anti-inflammatory.
makes ~1 pint
1 large raw beetroot
2 apples
2 celery sticks
1 thumb sized piece of fresh ginger
1. Scrub and rinse the beetroot and ginger.
2. Cut the apples and the beetroot into quarters.
3. Juice the ingredients, stir and drink.
